Terex Utilities has named two new regional sales managers, Gary Rice and Tony Rust, to spearhead the company’s sales efforts in the United States. In these roles, Rice and Rust will focus on growing Terex Utilities’ market share in the utilities industry across all segments, customers and channel options.

“We are excited to welcome Gary and Tony to our sales team,” said Jim Lohan, Terex Utilities vice president of sales and marketing. “Their unique skill sets and experiences will add to the great expertise already in place in our field team members. As Gary and Tony take on these roles, our previous regional sales managers in these regions, Tommy Nix and Wayne Norris, will now focus their efforts on growing the company’s market share and position with strategic accounts.”

As regional sales manager, Rice will be responsible for Terex Utilities’ sales efforts in the western region, bringing more than 38 years of industry experience to the role. Rice joined Terex when the company acquired the Reedrill division of Metso Corporation in 2005. In addition to his responsibilities as regional sales manager, Rice also serves as Terex Utilities’ auger drill product manager and auger tooling sales manager.

In this new role, Rust will cover the company’s eastern region sales territory. Rust comes to the Terex Utilities team from Terex Financial Services where he served as the director of capital markets, as well as prior to that as the TFS manager of the U.S. construction segment. Before joining Terex, Rust worked with GE Capital Vendor Financial Services in roles of increasing responsibility.
