    The Hooper Breaks Ground in Denver

    This $31 million project is a new construction of a nine-story mixed use building. The Hooper at 26th and Welton in Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood broke ground on April 24.

    The Hooper at 26th and Welton in Denver's historic Five Points neighborhood broke ground on April 24. This $31 million project is a new construction of a nine-story mixed use building with a restaurant/bookstore; two floors of office space; a fitness center (for use by nearby Rossonian hotel guests); and more than 100 apartment units.

    The units will include micro apartments available at lower prices and some two-bedroom apartments that could be rented out on a bedroom by bedroom basis. Construction is in full swing and will wrap up in about two years.

    The ceremony was attended by Mayor Hancock and Councilman Brooks.
