The Road Connection will beat a trail west to participate in a customer appreciation event with G.W.Van Keppel at the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Summer Nationals event in Topeka, Kansas on May 18th through May 20th.

Topeka’s Heartland Park has been a Midwest favorite for NHRA racers since it’s opening in 1989. Specifically, the drag strip has historically garnered a lot of national attention. Reaching speeds of 300 miles per hour, drag racers will participate in the 24th Annual Summer Nationals event.

As part of their customer appreciation event, The G.W. Van Keppel Company has invited The Road Connection to participate and discuss the importance of a federal highway bill with contractors, many of whom are responsible for rebuilding U.S. infrastructure. Additionally, The Road Connection hopes to share their message not only with contractors, but also racing fans that are planning to attend the Summer Nationals in Topeka.

The G.W. Van Keppel Company began as the vision and dream of an immigrant’s son, and has since grown to become one of the leading providers of equipment and services for the construction, material handling, trench safety, and quarry supply industries in the Midwest. Van Keppel has experienced significant growth since it was founded in 1926, now boasting 15 full-service locations.
