Tolls Rise on Atlantic City Expressway

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) Tolls increased on the Atlantic City Expressway just after midnight Nov. 18.

Ramps that were 25 cents increased to 40 cents. All 50 cent ramps now cost 75 cents.

Tolls for autos at the Egg Harbor plaza increased from $2 to $3. The Pleasantville toll plaza went up from 50 cents to 75 cents.

The South Jersey Transportation Authority said the higher tolls will generate an estimated $205 million to fund regional transportation projects.
