## About this model

The Caterpillar 289D3 is a compact track loader designed for grading, loading, material handling, and work in soft or uneven ground conditions. It is part of Caterpillar's D3 series and uses a tracked undercarriage for improved flotation, traction, and stability compared with wheeled loaders. The 289D3 is commonly used in construction, landscaping, agriculture, and site preparation. Typical features include a vertical lift design, hydraulic attachment capability, and an enclosed operator station option. The model is built to support a range of buckets and work tools, making it suitable for multi-purpose jobsite applications where maneuverability and ground contact are important.
