## About this model

The Caterpillar D4K2 XL is a crawler dozer designed for grading, dozing, and site preparation in construction, utility, and land clearing applications. It features a compact track-type undercarriage, an XL configuration for extended track length and improved stability, and a Caterpillar diesel powertrain matched to hydrostatic drive for precise control. The D4K2 XL is commonly used for finish grading, backfilling, road work, and general earthmoving where maneuverability and low ground disturbance are important. Its operator station, blade control, and undercarriage design support efficient operation in confined jobsite conditions.
