## About this model

The Caterpillar D6 LGP is a crawler dozer designed for grading, pushing, and earthmoving in soft or low-ground-pressure conditions. LGP stands for Low Ground Pressure, indicating a wider track configuration that helps distribute machine weight over a larger surface area. The D6 LGP is used in construction, land clearing, road building, site preparation, and forestry applications where flotation and traction are important. As part of Caterpillar's crawler dozer lineup, it is known for dozing performance, blade control, and versatility across varied terrain. The model is commonly selected for work on wet, loose, or sensitive ground conditions.
