It is part of Takeuchi's TB series and is commonly used where maneuverability and reduced ground disturbance are important. The TB240 typically features a zero tail swing design, hydraulic pilot controls, and a dig depth and lifting capacity suited to small- to medium-scale excavation tasks. Its compact size allows operation in confined areas while still providing the performance needed for trenching, grading, and material handling. The TB240 is often selected for jobs requiring transportability, versatility, and efficient operation in tight workspaces. ## Photos ![2022 Takeuchi TB240](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384606&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAkoLPH2PggEgwEEkB1hIpny) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 2](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384609&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAmtVQtHyvNY30Ewf85%2brztr) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 3](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384611&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAm56y7p5KMhSzN8EMOM7Y3F) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 4](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384614&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAmHsXx8nxaDIu%2blydaAPsDc) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 5](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384616&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAmqqGPijPO89gNCcfXRo0%2fx) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 6](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384617&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAnTkaS0GNgT%2bqKYVCakeUe4) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 7](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384618&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAk2Y6VSbE8VL%2bn9duu8H62f) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 8](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384619&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAmiJ780gp%2b%2fS%2faJTYozSVrm) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 9](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384620&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAmuwf0eIYnf1v5%2fhKFyUQHh) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 10](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384622&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAkqZ6pfYrSBlbQID1yqiOcm) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 11](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384627&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAnac01YogjiTMnB8ix%2bR0c4) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 12](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384631&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAltSKdxLyCdvAAMtr1Uf%2fQr) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 13](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384632&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAkGBWHUyzbtRC4KVqa7DZbu) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 14](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384633&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAlbIFS5h3tZF7lpgnE02XV5) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 15](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384634&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAm8OYYKrFq8JOO7qxf6R73F) ![2022 Takeuchi TB240 photo 16](https://media.sandhills.com/img.axd?id=10021384635&wid=0&rwl=False&p=&ext=&w=600&h=400&t=&lp=&c=True&wt=False&sz=Max&rt=0&checksum=FZnSjoGmOAnyj2ZrpPhwAeu8TctJVkcY)
