The Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA) recently presented four Annual Scholarships totaling $19,500. UTCA’s top award, the William Feather Memorial Scholarship valued at $12,000, was presented to Lauren Hedinger, who will attend Princeton University and major in engineering.
UTCA presented two $2,500 awards to seniors enrolled at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. One award went to Hernando Montoya, who is majoring in civil engineering, and the second went to Christina Villa, who is majoring in construction technology. The award to Villa recently was established in the memory of Margaret Cervino, who operated Sanitary Construction Company for several decades.
The final association scholarship was presented to Elizabeth Paquet, who is completing the Construction Management Graduate Program at Stevens Institute of Technology. Paquet has been employed for several years at M.J. Paquet Inc.
