Volvo Construction Equipment Rents Inc. (Volvo CE Rents) has announced the signing of a franchise agreement for Volvo equipment rental centers in the Jackson, Hattiesburg and Gulfport/Biloxi, MS, metropolitan market areas.

GGCS Inc., One Blackwell Drive, Hattiesburg, has entered into a Volvo CE Rents franchise agreement to own and operate independent Volvo CE Rents center. The company’s first equipment rental center will open for business in Hattiesburg within the next few weeks. Rental centers for the other markets will become operational over the next several months.

All Volvo CE Rents centers are independently owned and operated franchises within the Volvo Construction Equipment rental program. The new rental centers being established in Mississippi will carry, in addition to Volvo construction equipment, a comprehensive line of essential equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets.

Principal Volvo products for its franchised rental centers include its comprehensive line of compact excavators and wheel loaders and the company’s backhoe and skid steer loaders.

Volvo CE Rents, which began its equipment rental franchise initiative in 2001, now has equipment rental centers open in Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, California, Tennessee, Ohio, Louisiana, New York, Minnesota, Arkansas, New Jersey, Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois, Maryland, Washington –– and, soon, in Mississippi. In addition to these franchises, the company has franchise agreements signed with other North America business interests seeking independently owned and operated franchise opportunities in the equipment rental business.
