Volvo Rents Expands Franchise to Omaha

Volvo Construction Equipment Rents Inc. (Volvo Rents), has signed a franchise agreement for new Volvo Rents equipment rental centers in Omaha, NE.

TMS Equipment LLC has entered into a Volvo Rents franchise agreement to open Volvo Rents equipment centers in the metropolitan Omaha area. The new rental centers, independently owned and operated franchises, will carry, in addition to Volvo construction equipment, a comprehensive line of essential equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets.

Principal Volvo products for its equipment rental franchises include the company’s compact excavators and wheel loaders and backhoe and skid steer loaders.

The Volvo Rents equipment franchise program was designed by Volvo Construction Equipment and covers all aspects of an operating rental business model.

Features include use of the Volvo brand, financial assistance, a fleet purchasing program for non-Volvo products, a Volvo Rents proprietary software program, training, facility design and local and regional marketing.

Volvo Rents now has rental centers open in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, California, Tennessee, Ohio, South Carolina, Louisiana, New York, Minnesota, Arkansas, New Jersey, Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois, New Mexico, Washington, Pennsylvania, Texas, Mississippi, Maryland, Nevada, Arizona, Massachusetts and Canada.

In addition to these operating franchises, the company has franchise agreements under negotiation with other business interests seeking independently-owned and operated franchise opportunities in the equipment rental business. The company is expanding its operations in Europe with rental centers now open in Portugal, Spain and Italy.
