When Equipment Rental Service LLC opened its doors in 2004 doing business as Volvo Rents, the company puts its focus squarely on two types of customers — small- to medium-sized excavating companies and homeowners.

According to Dominic Frank, sales coordinator of Volvo Rents, the company, located at 1132 State Route 18 in Burgettstown, PA, serves a vast territory that includes customers north to Meadville, PA; east to Johnstown, PA; all of the West Virginia panhandle; and Columbiana, Belmont and Jefferson counties in Ohio.

“And we deliver or we offer our customers the opportunity to haul the equipment themselves,” Frank added.

Volvo Rents offers a full line of Volvo equipment, including backhoe loaders, mini-excavators, trenchers, air compressors, personnel lifts, forklifts and bulldozers to name a few.

All of the company’s six employees spend a great deal of time going the distance when it comes to service, said Frank. “We service what we sell … the customer is number-one here,” he emphasized.
