Walter ’Rob’ Earle Inducted as UTCA of New Jersey President

Walter “Rob” Earle, president of Earle Asphalt, located in Farmingdale, N.J., was inducted as president of the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association (UTCA) at its 43rd anniversary convention, which was held at the Tropicana Hotel a nd Casino in Atlantic City. The convention attracted one of the largest crowds ever to attend the event.

UTCA’s new president has been active in construction and the family business for approximately 30 years. Earle has served as an officer and member of the association board of directors for the past eight years. The firm operates two asphalt plants, located in Jackson, N.J., and completes major asphalt milling and paving projects at state, county and municipal levels throughout New Jersey.

UTCA includes approximately 1,100 member firms active in road, bridge, utility and hazardous waste remediation construction, in the public and private sectors, throughout the metropolitan area.
