The second event was another huge success. Hundreds of customers, guests, vendors and local dignitaries turned out for the event, which featured a catfish fry and a seemingly endless array of prize drawings. Tents filled the parking lot as vendors turned out in force to showcase their products throughout the day. The stars of the event, however, were the all-new P-Tier John Deere excavators, which were lined up in the demonstration area and ready for some operating time. Warrior Tractor sales representatives and excavator specialists, along with John Deere Certified Dealer Instructors, were on hand to assist customers during demonstrations of the new excavator line, which represents a ground-up redesign by John Deere. After operating a P-Tier excavator, Austin King of Plumb One Inc., a plumbing contractor in Moody, Ala., described his experience with the new machine in one word: “smooth.” The company owns approximately 10 John Deere machines. King was particularly impressed with the SmartGrade system integrated into the machine and liked the ability to use the auto-dig system. “The cab is really comfortable, everything is easy to understand and everything is right at your fingertips,” he said. “And the controls are easily programmable to meet your preference.” For more information, visit warriortractor.com ## Photos ![(L-R): Don Garrett of Warrior Tractor, welcomes Josh Graham and Elliott Reynolds of Vulcan Materials to the open house.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-1.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![(L-R): Graysville Mayor Julio Davis joined Warrior Tractor’s owner, Gene Taylor, and Graysville branch manager, James Jesuit, for the big event.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-10.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![Warrior Tractor owner, Gene Taylor (C), makes his way around the room at lunchtime to thank his customers, business partners, vendors and local dignitaries for their business and support.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-11.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![Enjoying some conversation time after lunch (L-R) are Julius Nichols, Warrior Tractor; Casey Nichols, independent contractor; Brian Loden, Nichols Dozer & Land Services, Hamilton, Ala.; James Jesuit, Warrior Tractor; and Mike Sargent, Walker County, Ala., contractor.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-12.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![The shop area was cleared out for a catered catfish fry and the guests came from all over Birmingham and North Alabama to join the Warrior staff for lunch and some demo time.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-13.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![Warrior Tractor’s Jennifer Vinson, who spearheads the success of the demo/open house events, assists honored guest Jimmie Stephens, president of the Jefferson County (Alabama) Commission, with entering raffles for some great prizes.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-14.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![Warrior Tractor’s Millan Woods (R) presented the grand prize winner, Riley Tolbert of the city of Center Point, Ala., with a John Deere gun safe.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-15.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![Vendor tents lined the parking lot where giveaways and “swag” were seemingly endless at this event.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-16.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![(L-R): Seth Mitchell, Jonathan Rakestraw, Tyler Raines and Blake Kleinke, the FAE USA team, were out in full-force promoting the FAE product line.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-2.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![Before the big crowds rolled in, Warrior Tractor’s Vann Neal (in cab) tests out the new Werk-Brau 10-in. grapple shear with Mike Corely of Werk Brau, Findlay, Ohio.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-3.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![John Deere’s Corbin Bell (L) and Miguel Figueroa (C) provide a complete walk-around demonstration of the new John Deere 230 P-Tier excavator with interested prospects.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-4.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![Austin King (L) of Plumb One Inc., Moody, Ala., and his Warrior Tractor sales representative, Mike Sims, discuss the latest features on the new P-Tier excavators before King operates the machine.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-5.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![The demo yard at Graysville was stacked deep with all sizes of John Deere P-Tier excavators for attendees to test for themselves.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-6.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![NPK’s Mark Snyder (L) was deep in discussions with guests throughout the day on the NPK line of hammers.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-7.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![SAKAI’s Nick Zessack (L) talks with guests about SAKAI asphalt rollers and soil compactors on display at the event.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-8.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo* ![Representing the Fuchs material handler line at the event were Noah Devine (L) and John Fair.](https://dmt55mxnkgbz2.cloudfront.net/1205x0_s3-72465-S-AL-WAR-BIR-9.jpg) *Photo credit: CEG photo*
