ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) Construction workers who are building the new Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington have noticed they’re getting whistled at — by the structure.

Strong winds are blamed for an eerie whistling sound that sometimes permeates the construction site.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported April 8 that construction manager Jack Hill said engineers say the whistling sound is temporary until the roof is in place.

The $1 billion dollar retractable roof Cowboys complex is scheduled to be open for the 2009 season and will be the site of the 2011 Super Bowl.
