W.S. Tyler, a manufacturer of screening, washing and pelletizing products, has opened Haver & Tyler Grand Canyon (HTGC), a new sales and service center in Gilbert, Ariz., which is part of the Phoenix metropolitan area.

HTGC serves mining, aggregate and industrial mineral producers including large copper and gold companies, sand and gravel operations, mineral processing plants and specialty sand plants in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.

The new office provides a direct commercial and technical connection to W.S. Tyler headquarters in St. Catharines, Ontario, making it possible to provide customers in the southwest local access to factory-supported services, with the overall goal of keeping flexibility, speed and customer service as the top priorities.

“We are continuously looking to be more proactive than reactive with our products and services,” said General Manager Lyndell Fuller. “The new opening helps meet this goal while strengthening our relationship with new and existing clients in the region.”

The new facility will provide service and parts for customized, customer-specific equipment including the F-Class, H-Class and XL-Class vibrating screens, as well as the Hydro-Clean washing system. Technicians based there also perform Pro-Deck consultations including W.S. Tyler’s signature vibration analysis and plant and screen media audits. Pro-Deck consultations are done at the client’s site and are free to new and current clients.

HTGC transformed the entire second floor of the facility into a training center where customers can learn how to get the most out of their Haver & Tyler equipment. The company offers courses in screening, vibration analysis, washing and pelletizing.

HTGC is the third new facility the company has opened in 2013 under the Haver & Tyler brand. Each new office is a part of W.S. Tyler’s ongoing effort to localize sales, parts and services in North America.
