Construction Equipment Guide

Attendees of the Chicago Construction Expo will have an opportunity to win prizes for work and play.

The expo will feature millions of dollars of heavy and light equipment, parts, accessories, safety equipment, laser, services and more. It will take place Jan. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Jan. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center located on 1551 N. Thoreau Drive in Schaumburg, Ill.

Admission and parking will be free.

In addition to being a one-stop shopping spree for construction needs, the expo will offer cash and door prizes — including the drawing for a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck.

The expo also will have drawings for four grandstand tickets and pit passes to Chicagoland Speedway and one of two attachments from Construction Implements Depot (CID) LLC.

On the practical side, CID Attachments has provided two skid steer attachments, a 4-in-1 bucket and a grapple bucket.

Racing fans will be in heaven at the Chicagoland Speedway, located in Joliet, Ill. The 1.5-mi. track is one of the premier racing facilities in the United States, according to racing enthusiasts.

In addition, there will be a meet-and-greet with Chicago Bears’ Hall of Famer Dan Hampton.

He will be appearing Jan 9. from 12 to 3 p.m. and Jan. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There is plenty of time to book a spot in the 100,000 sq. ft. of pillar-fee exhibit space at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center.
