Okarche, Okla.-based 3 West Equipment offers hydraulic breakers designed for contractors working in demolition, excavation, concrete removal and other heavy construction applications.
Among the company's lineup are the 3W-800B and 3W-2000B — two hydraulic breakers designed to accommodate different excavator weight classes and operating requirements.
3W-800B Hydraulic Breaker
The 3W-800B is designed for excavators weighing between 22,046 and 33,069 lbs. With an operating weight of 1,898 lbs., the breaker provides an option for contractors using smaller excavators for demolition and excavation work.
The model features an impact energy class of 2,350 ft.-lbs. and operates at 350 to 700 blows per minute. Its hydraulic flow requirements range from 21 to 29 gal. per minute, with operating pressures between 2,134 and 2,418 psi.
Equipped with a 3.9-in. tool shaft diameter, the 3W-800B is suited for compatible excavators working on concrete removal, rock breaking and other applications where hydraulic breaking equipment is required.
3W-2000B Hydraulic Breaker
For contractors operating larger excavators, the 3W-2000B offers increased operating weight and impact energy.
Weighing 4,173 lbs., the breaker is designed for carriers ranging from 39,683 to 57,320 lbs. It features an impact energy class of 3,592 ft.-lbs. and operates at 400 to 600 blows per minute.
The 3W-2000B requires hydraulic flow between 34 and 40 gal. per minute, with operating pressures ranging from 2,276 to 2,560 psi. Its 5.3-in. tool shaft diameter provides a larger configuration for heavier breaking applications.
The model is intended for contractors using larger excavators on demolition, excavation and site preparation projects where greater breaker capacity is required.
Carrier Compatibility, Support
Selecting the appropriate hydraulic breaker requires matching the attachment to the excavator's operating weight, hydraulic flow and pressure capabilities. The 3W-800B and 3W-2000B accommodate different carrier classes, giving contractors options based on their equipment and jobsite requirements.
