S. Cohn & Son Inc. recently opened a facility in Fort Wayne, IN, bringing its total to five locations serving the construction industry in North and South America. The other locations include its headquarters in Indianapolis; Monroe, OH; St. Louis, MO, and Washington, IN.

The company supplies aftermarket parts for construction and mining equipment and ships throughout the United States, Canada and Central and South America, providing undercarriages in the United States for most OEM machines, engine and final-drive parts and components, rubber tracks for mini-excavators as well as repair services from its shops and field service.

S. Cohn & Son also maintains a large used parts inventory and offers a Rebuilt and Exchange program.

For customers outside its five locations, traveling sales representatives cover Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Wisconsin and West Virginia in addition to its worldwide shipping.

According to Gary Davis, the branch manager of the company’s new Fort Wayne location, it has stocked teeth, edges and rollers and will grow its inventory in Fort Wayne to keep pace with its presence and local demand.

Both the Fort Wayne location and Davis’ new position are the result of S. Cohn & Son’s purchase of Kamtrax, the aftermarket parts division of Kreager Brothers Excavating.

Davis has extensive industry experience and has been in the parts supply business since 1972.

The next big move for S. Cohn & Son will happen when it relocates its headquarters to a new facility currently under construction in Indianapolis.
