The AED Summit and Condex was held Jan. 15 to 17, 2014, at the Hilton Americas Houston and the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. The AED Summit and Condex is an annual convention designed specifically to provide equipment distributors with opportunities to see new products, meet with current and prospective business partners, attend educational seminars and network with dealer peers.

This year’s event featured Marty Regali, U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Jason Dorsey, The Gen Y Guy; and Ben Carson as keynote speakers. Seminars included “Critical Success Factors for Getting Exceptional Result in Strategy Implementation,” “Web Site Basics and Beyond” and “The Cost of Customer Defection,” among others.

Mike Rayburn, billed as the “World’s Funniest Guitar Virtuoso” performed at the Cabaret Night Benefit for the AED Foundation.
