Associated Equipment Distributors (AED) and the North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement (MOU) to formalize a collaborative partnership focused on aligning industry priorities and strengthening the unified voice of equipment dealers across North America.

The agreement establishes a framework for AED and NAEDA to work together on key initiatives, including manufacturer relations, government affairs, education and workforce development. Through this collaboration, both associations aim to enhance industry alignment and amplify advocacy efforts on behalf of equipment dealers in the United States and Canada.

Under the terms of the MOU, AED and NAEDA will coordinate efforts in government and legislative affairs to ensure that equipment dealers are strongly represented in policy discussions that impact the industry. The organizations also will collaborate on manufacturer relations initiatives such as joint manufacturer meetings, contract reviews and other dealer-focused programs.

"This agreement represents an important step forward for the equipment industry," said Jerry Donlon, chairman of AED. "By working together, AED and NAEDA can better serve our members, strengthen dealer-manufacturer relationships and amplify our collective impact on the key policy and workforce issues shaping the future of our industry."

"Our organizations share a long-standing commitment to supporting equipment dealers and ensuring their success," said Steve Hunt, chairman of NAEDA. "This partnership allows us to align our legislative priorities, collaborate more closely and provide even greater value to our members and the broader industry."

The MOU outlines a series of collaborative milestones and joint initiatives that will be executed over the next months and beyond. Both organizations have agreed to maintain open communication, coordinate advocacy efforts and continue working together to advance the shared interests of equipment dealers across North America.
