Associated General Contractors of Minnesota (AGC of Minnesota) has selected Abbey Bryduck as its next chief executive officer. Bryduck will join the association on Aug. 3, 2026, and will succeed current CEO Tim Worke, who will retire at the end of the year after more than two decades of leadership.
Bryduck brings extensive experience in association management, government affairs and the construction industry. Most recently, she served as the executive leader of the Minnesota Asphalt Pavement Association. She also is well known within AGC, having previously served as the association's Highway Division and Government Relations director from 2016 to 2018.
Her selection follows a comprehensive search process that began more than six months ago and attracted more than 90 applicants from across the country. The search committee, composed of past AGC board chairs and the AGC executive committee, conducted multiple rounds of interviews before selecting Bryduck as the organization's next leader.
"Abbey distinguished herself through her leadership experience, deep understanding of the construction industry and clear vision for the future of our association," said Kirk Ilenda, 2026 AGC board chair. "We are confident she is exceptionally well-positioned to build upon the strong foundation established by Tim Worke and lead AGC of Minnesota into its next chapter."
Worke also expressed his enthusiasm for the transition.
"AGC members and the Minnesota construction industry are truly fortunate to have found such an accomplished leader in Abbey," said Worke. "She will elevate the AGC experience and position the industry for continued success in the years ahead."
Bryduck will spend the remainder of 2026 working alongside Worke and the AGC staff to ensure a smooth leadership transition before officially assuming the CEO role on Jan. 1, 2027.
