Aggregate Industry’s Charles Fike Dies

Charles T. Fike, owner of C. T. Fike Company, passed away on Oct. 17 of an aggressive form of Leukemia.

Fike was an active member of the Illinois Association of Aggregate Producers (IAAP) and served on the organization’s Board of Directors from 1987 to 1990.

He received the “Extra Mile Award” from the Missouri Limestone Producers Association (MLPA) in 1992 and its “Life Member Award” in 1985.

Fike incorporated C. T. Fike Company in 1959, making this year the company’s 45th anniversary. He is survived by his wife Jean and his three sons Dan, David, Corey, and six grandchildren.
