This Komatsu WA380 loader gets a solid workout just moments before the start of the sale. As always, a large crowd, numbering in the hundreds, gathered to fill their equipment needs. Nick Vito (L) of Waste Resources, Syracuse, N.Y., and Frank Snyder of Northern New York Auto Sales, Fort Covington, N.Y., have their eyes set on this Komatsu PC200. Tom Lavalle of Anthony Lavalle & Sons Paving, Syracuse, N.Y., hopes to bring home a good quality used roller to add to his fleet of paving equipment. Steve Zehr and Ashley Marolf from Casterland, N.Y., weren’t content to inspect this Komatsu from the ground; they needed to climb up top and take a closer look. This sale featured a large variety of lifts to meet every need of central and northern New York contractors. Mike Stankevich (L) of Mike’s Enterprises, North Syracuse, N.Y., and Joe Emmy of Joe’s Landscaping, Syracuse, N.Y., consider taking home this New Holland C185 skid steer. Alex Lyon & Son held its annual fall auction Oct. 29 in Canastota, N.Y. (just down the road from the Turning Stone Casino and Resort). This year’s auction pulled lots of consignments, a huge crowd and great prices.
