Walter Dobler, GG’s and GW Inc., Orlando, Fla., was in the market for some trailers. The auction site was full of equipment for bidders to inspect. This 2005 Cat 950G had a lot of bidders. The winner got it for $78,000. Darrel Harp (L), Darrell Harp Enterprises, and H. C. Hare, Hare Tractor Co., came all the way from Alabama in hopes of being the winning bidders on a variety of equipment. Dan Kinstle has a small construction company in Orlando. He was hoping to take home a Case backhoe loader but showed some interest in this Malphrus pull scraper. One or more small dozers may have headed to Athens, Tenn., if Carl Mashburn of Trio Equipment had his way. This Komatsu PC228 got a good look from Jim Pittman of Rent It Inc. in Auburn, Maine. Mike Zyndorf, Mike Zyndorf LLC, came down from Mays Landing, N.J., to look at a variety of equipment including this Leeboy roller. Greg Mutty, president of Mutty Equipment Inc. Sarasota, Fla., was hoping to buy this Cat 950H for a friend’s customer. J. W. Fullwood (L) and John Helton of Tractor World, Plant City, Fla., have attended a lot of Florida auctions and know that an air-conditioned cart is a real benefit. This Case 580M got a good look from Lino Lun, Importadora DE, who came over from Mexico to see what Jack had for sale.

Alex Lyon & Son held a late-model rental return auction for several of Florida’s rental fleet companies on Aug. 19. Also on the block was equipment from a major job completion from Earthmovers.
