An extensive selection of equipment went on the block at Alex Lyon & Son’s recent sale in Orlando. Charles De Armas travelled from Santo Domingo. He takes a long look at this LeeBoy SweepPro. Don Miller (L) and Todd Easterday of TM Trades came to the auction from Maryland hoping to find a good buy. This Ford 445A may be one. Any good buy will do for Dale (L) and Brett Mason of Mason Equipment, but they aren’t sure there is anything that is going cheap. Evan Hubbard (L) and Skip Hillman of H&W Cattle are just doing a little window shopping. A long-reach excavator is what brought Jack Sureppe of Eagle Tractor from New Brunswick, Canada, to the auction. He is looking at some other equipment and will take home any late model, low-hour piece that comes with a good price. Ron Durepo, Bridgeport Equipment, Saginaw, Mich., came with the company checkbook, and this Case excavator is getting a serious look. Is Robert Vigon looking at the crane boom or just enjoying the sunshine? He checked out this USTC 1700 pretty intently. The Dominican Republic had several buyers in town for the auction. Here, Miguel Olivo is looking over a Volvo excavator with the idea of taking it back with him for his construction business.

Alex Lyon & Son held a rental return auction Oct. 25 in Kissimmee, Fla.

A beautiful fall day in central Florida greeted buyers from the United States and other countries for the fall auction. While the weather was moderate, prices continued to be good as bidders tried to get the best equipment.
