Alexander Wolf & Son, a general contractor and construction manager in New York, has been selected to receive The New York Construction Legacy Award.

The New York Construction awards recognize construction, design (architecture and engineering) and development industry leaders it honors as a select group of rapidly growing and innovative companies. The awards were presented on June 12 by Anchin, Block & Anchin, in cooperation with the New York Building Congress (NYBC), the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York), the American Institute of Architects — New York Chapter (AIA New York), the Subcontractors Trade Association (STA) and Willis Towers Watson.

The company's founder, Alexander Wolf, was a native New Yorker who grew up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan and got his start in the construction field as a mason.
