If you want to present an impressive golf invitational, you need to talk with the folks at All Crane Rental of Georgia Inc. All Crane recently held its seventh annual golf invitational at The Golf Club at Bridge Mill. According to coordinator Kellee Hilliard, it was a beautiful day with the perfect temperature for golfing.

The fun started at 11 a.m. and lasted well into the evening. Lunch was served at 11, and the teams teed off at 1 p.m. It was a Fort Lauderdale tournament format wherein each player hits a ball and then the best ball is chosen. Among the competitions was the longest drive, closest to pin and longest putt. Winners received prizes including $100 gift certificates to The Golf Club at Bridge Mill, All Crane Rental of Georgia Inc. golf bags, and $100 cash. There were hole-in-one competitions for Hole Numbers 5, 8, 12 and 16. The hole-in-one prizes consisted of a complete set of Taylor Made Super Steel Irons, $500 golf apparel (Cutter & Buck or Ashworth), a $500 Visa money card, and a Big Dog motorcycle provided by Easy Riders of Atlanta (a $20,000 value). All of the hole-in-one prizes were won with the exception of the Big Dog motorcycle.

But the prize winning didn’t stop there. Hilliard said that everyone who played went home a winner. First-place team members each received $100 cash; second-place team members each received a $100 gift certificate to The Golf Club at Bridge Mill, and third- and fourth-place team members received Al1 Crane golf bags. Other prizes included golf shirts, Swiss army knives, vendor shirts, polar vests, gift certificates, mugs, umbrellas and coolers.
