Premier pile driving and drilling contractor, American Pile and Foundation LLC, took delivery of a Liebherr LRB 19 piling and drilling rig at ConExpo 2026. As North America's largest construction tradeshow, this handover signifies the continued trust and support shared between the two companies.

Offering foundation design and construction solutions for more than 10 years, American Pile stands out as a premiere foundation contractor in the Northeast. Their fleet currently includes a Liebherr LB 28, LB 36, LRB 355.1 and an LB 45 which they acquired in late 2025.

In addition, the company is set to take delivery of an additional Liebherr LRB 355.1 in 2026. American Pile's acquisitions will complement the line of machines and provide further offerings to their customers.

Deep Foundation Solutions

Liebherr piling and drilling rigs cover an extensive range of applications including piling, vibrating, pressing and drilling. With the appropriate attachment tool, many deep foundation methods can be used with a Liebherr deep foundation machine.

The Liebherr LRB 19 piling and drilling rig is designed for all common deep foundation applications, such as piling and vibrating applications as well as drilling with Kelly equipment, double rotary head, full displacement tool or soil mixing. The name LRB 19 refers to the maximum travel distance of the carriage of 62 ft. (19 m.).

The attachments can be easily changed using the hydraulic quick connection system without the operator having to leave the cab, according to Liebherr. All hydraulic, mechanical and electrical connections are automatically coupled. Improved hose routing also optimizes work process on site, and a 450 kW motor provides the necessary power for all applications.
