The SB 452 is Atlas Copco’s final addition to its line of solid body hydraulic breaker attachments. The slim one-piece design contains all integral parts in the same iron alloy casting.
The SB 452 offers a high power-to-weight ratio and boasts a maximum impact rate of 1,260 blows per minute, a 61-percent increase over its predecessor. Overall operating efficiency has been improved by 23 percent.
The new 972-lb. (441 kg) breaker requires oil flow of 14.5 to 27.7 gal. per minute (55 to 105 Lpm) at a pressure range of 1,450 to 2,175 psi and is suitable for carriers in the 7- to 14-ton (6.3 to 12.7 t) weight class.
