Richardo Lopez (R) and his son, Raul, of Fresno, Calif., claimed the winning bid on a 210LE 4 x 4 skip loader and are ready to use it in their landscaping business. Jeff and Paula of Conn Ag, Tracy, Calif., are frequent attendees at the Bar None auctions and were happy to win a John Deere 544H wheel loader. James Hopper of Rare Earth Landscaping, Grass Valley, Calif., brought his daughter to the auction and secured the high bid on a Kenworth W900B T/A transfer dump truck set. Robert Lincoln of Carson City, Nev., has been coming to the Bar None auctions since the company’s beginnings in Diamond Springs, Calif., and is happy to pick up a 2004 John Deere 410G 4x4 loader backhoe this time. Tim Jackson of Ross Equipment, Cottonwood, Calif., is happy his stepson brought him to the sale as he walked away with a 2005 Case 570MXT 4x4 skip loader. Rick Lavezzo of Arrayocon, Sacramento, Calif., didn’t mess around as he scooped up four pieces of equipment in the sale, including a Peterbilt 2005 379 T/A truck tractor. Bobby Bouck of 3B equipment, Elk Grove, Calif., was the winner of a 1995 Cat 322L excavator and can’t wait to put it to work.

Bar None Auction held a heavy equipment and commercial truck auction April 9 at the company’s facility in Sacramento, Calif. More than 1,000 bidders registered for the sale that saw buyers from around the world competing for nearly 1,350 separate lots.

Highlights from the auction included a 1997 Peterbilt 357 truck tractor that sold for $57,000, a 1997 Caterpillar 330BL excavator that brought in a winning bid of $56,000, a 2008 Chevrolet 3500HD that went for $44,000, and a 2000 John Deere 544H wheel loader that sold for $40,000.
