Ingersoll-Rand has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Birmingham Electric Battery Company (BEBCO) as a new power generation dealer.

Based in Birmingham, AL, BEBCO serves customers throughout the state and in 19 counties in the Florida Panhandle.

According to BEBCO General Manager Philip Goodwin, the company became an Ingersoll-Rand dealer to provide customers with a line of generators that complemented their existing offerings.

“It seemed to be the right fit for our organization at this time to add Ingersoll-Rand generators to our product line. Adding Ingersoll-Rand also allows BEBCO to service existing customers and develop new customers in the rental, sales and service of the generator market,” Goodwin said.

BEBCO carries Ingersoll-Rand portable and mobile environmental generators and balloon lights. The company has been a power source dealer for 92 years.

“We have been exposed to Ingersoll-Rand generators through contractor customers, and we’re familiar with the Ingersoll-Rand brand and family of high quality construction equipment,” Goodwin said. “We see an opportunity in this specialty area to provide generators to end-users for field operations.”
