In recognition of America's 250th anniversary, Bobcat Company is introducing a limited "Founders Edition" ZT3500 zero-turn mower, an exclusive 250-unit release designed to mark the milestone while celebrating the people behind the work. Built on a proven mowing platform, the Founders Edition zero-turn mower combines the trusted performance operators rely on with distinctive upgrades and commercial-grade features that set it apart.

"Bobcat was built on the belief that if you give people the right equipment, they can take on bigger jobs, build stronger businesses and create something that lasts," said Jeremy Holck, vice president of grounds maintenance products of Bobcat. "This milestone is really about recognizing the people who carry that spirit forward — the operators and crews who continue to make an impact in their communities every day."

The Founders Edition ZT3500 features several unique enhancements while maintaining the same performance, durability and ease of use customers rely on:

  • individually numbered units (1–250), marking each machine as part of the commemorative release;
  • a Founders Edition badge and American flag accents, reflecting the edition's commemorative inspiration;
  • blacked-out tailgate and rims for a more defined, modern appearance; and
  • an upgraded seat platform designed to support longer days on the job.

While the release recognizes a historic milestone, the day-to-day realities of the job remain unchanged. Contractors continue to rely on equipment that helps them maintain consistent results, stay on schedule and keep crews moving without interruption, outcomes that directly support business growth and customer satisfaction.

The Founders Edition ZT3500 will be available in limited quantities through select Bobcat dealerships nationwide, with some dealers planning to feature the units at community events, charitable fundraisers and local celebrations, extending its impact beyond the job site and recognizing the communities they serve.

"We're proud of the mowers we build, but even more proud of the people who put them to work," Holck said. "This edition reflects that pride, expressed through a design that sets it apart."

While the milestone recognizes a moment in time, the work it represents continues long after, carried forward by the crews, businesses and communities building what's next, one job at a time.
