The website Prairie Business Bobcat/Doosan reports that Bobcat Co. and Doosan North broke ground on August 11th on a project that will approximately double the size of their headquarters building in West Fargo and also revolutionize the way workers there interact with each other.

Company officials say at the heart of the $9.5 million endeavor is the idea that creating a bright, open workspace — even top managers are losing their offices — spurs innovation and improves productivity and worker satisfaction.

As part of the expansion, employees who are now working at several locations in the Fargo area will be moved to the headquarters building. When the expansion is complete, the capacity of the building will grow from 175 positions to being able to accommodate 320.
