BOMAG Americas, a Fayat Company, announces that industry veteran David Madden has joined its team as vice president of service & solutions.

In his new position, he will build strategies and lead the company's team members under the service & solutions umbrella – parts, training, warranty, UPTIME and the Equipment Readiness Center.

A technician by trade, Madden has been turning wrenches on equipment since an early age. He offers more than 30 years of service industry experience, spending time with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as well as heavy equipment dealers. He held various service and management roles at dealerships in Kentucky and Louisiana. He also worked as a regional product support manager and North American field service manager for a global manufacturer of construction, agricultural and industrial machinery.

Most recently, Madden managed the regional service and aftermarket sales program for 22 states in the eastern United States and Canada for a leading global agricultural and construction equipment manufacturer.

"David [Madden] offers deep, tenured experience for this position," said Brian Bieller, president of BOMAG Americas. "Plus, his breadth of dealer and OEM knowledge gives BOMAG the preferred skill set to transform our service & solutions program and drive more uptime for our customers. While in this position for only a short time, David [Madden] already has framed ideas on how to enhance parts fulfillment efficiency, increase the robustness of our dealer training program and better involve our service & solutions team in the sales process."

"Throughout my career, I have helped teams execute strategies that management has developed for us," said Madden. "This new opportunity at BOMAG Americas gives me the ability to formulate strategic decisions, based on company objectives. A manufacturer can supply the best product on the market, but if it's not properly supported, this hurts the brand. I'm excited to have the opportunity to lead this team, who's passionate about optimizing equipment uptime for our customers and dealers."
