Close to 100 personnel representing 20 different counties and asphalt paving contractors showed up for an interactive and informative paving school hosted by Boxcer Equipment of Tulsa, Okla.
The day’s events included a mix of classroom presentations and hands-on demonstrations on a live paving site. Attendees were treated to a hotdog and hamburger lunch and one guest, courtesy of a random drawing, even walked away with a new pair of boots.
Representatives from various equipment manufacturers including Mauldin Paving Products were on hand to answer questions and offer product demonstrations. Boxcer Equipment has represented Mauldin Paving Products since March of 2012 and is excited to bring its line-up of bitumen distributor trucks, asphalt pavers, and motorgraders into the Oklahoma market, according to the company.
Ralph Cercy of Boxcer Equipment said, “The Mauldin product line has proven to be a real winner for our Oklahoma customers. The advanced designs along with the ease of operation have led the way for our increasing market share. Boxcer Equipment has many years of experience working in the asphalt paving business and we are convinced that Mauldin has the products our customers have been looking for.”
Boxcer Equipment was founded in 2004 by Newton Box, and later joined by business partner Ralph Cercy, to sell and support used and new construction equipment.
