Construction Equipment Guide

Flexco’s BR6 rivet solid plate system handles smaller pulley diameters, complementing the other fasteners in the BR line. The BR6 also is ideal for troughed belts with 20 degree and 35 degree troughing idlers.

The BR6 fasteners can handle tensions from 330 to 400 P.I.W. and conveyor systems with pulleys as small as 14 in. (35 cm). The BR6 requires only six rivets per fastener and can be purchased in full-width strips of 24, 30, 36, and 42 in. (60, 75, 90, and 105 cm). It also can be used as a successful alternative to vulcanized applications and with straight warp belting.

Installing the BR6 fasteners has now become much faster and easier with the improved aluminum MBRT tool. Featuring a lighter weight aluminum structure and a high-strength cambered clamp bar, the MBRT tool offers faster and easier installation, saving from 30 to 50 minutes per splice, according to the manufacturer.

The scalloped edge on the tool allows the BR6 fasteners to nest securely on the bottom side of the belt.

Fasteners can be applied with a variety on installation tools including hand installation and power installation with the Hitachi Power Tool.
