Headquartered in Bowmansville, Pa., Brubacher provides a full range of excavation and utility-contracting services to commercial, industrial, municipal and residential clients across southeastern Pennsylvania. Just north of Brubacher headquarters is the Lehigh Valley, an area the company has served for many years, and one that has grown exponentially in the past decade.

The Lehigh Valley is considered to be the second-best performing region of its size for economic development in the nation, and, as a result of this growth, Brubacher has seen a significant increase in the amount of work the company is providing to the area. Therefore, it was a natural decision for Brubacher to open a new office in the heart of the Lehigh Valley.

Located at 2970 Corporate Court in Orefield, the company’s third office opened in April and will help Brubacher deliver efficiency and customer support to its clients.

“We have a growing list of loyal customers because of the way we approach the work and the people we employ. We felt this new office would enable us to better support and grow the presence we have already established here in the Lehigh Valley,” said Keith Brubacher, president.

Some of Brubacher’s more prominent work in the area includes: an 800,000+ sq. ft. Crayola distribution center at Majestic Bethlehem Center business park; a 1.2-million sq. ft. warehouse for Liberty Property Trust at the Lehigh Valley Industrial Park in Bethlehem; and 138 acres of site preparation for 160 single homes and 289 townhomes for Heritage Building Group in Lower Macungie Township.

Although the economy has shifted over the years, Brubacher has never stopped expanding its reach and capabilities to meet the demand for its services. With the Marcellus Shale boom, the Brubacher team opened an energy services office in Liberty, Pa., showing its pipeline expertise in a variety of well-pad preparation services. Likewise, as the Lehigh Valley flourishes, Brubacher has taken root in the area and looks forward to growing as the community grows. Brubacher expects to bring 20 new jobs to the Lehigh Valley this year with the opening of its new office, including equipment operators and utility and paving-crew members. The company’s other two locations also are expanding their teams to meet a growing need for services.

“While our growth is, in part, driven by industry growth, we owe much of our success to the character and competence of our employees. At the heart of our company are 275 employees who make it their mission to reduce stress, mitigate risk, and get the job done right, and that’s what differentiates us in this industry,” said Keith Brubacher.
