Bursich Named New Hanover Township Authority Engineer

Bursich Associates Inc., a full-service civil engineering, planning, and surveying firm based in Pottstown, Pa., with offices in Berks and Bucks counties, was appointed engineer for the New Hanover Township Authority located in Gilbertsville, Pa.

The role of authority engineer requires a number of tasks be completed for the authority including: infiltration and inflow investigation assistance, feasibility studies and sewer facility design reports, shop drawing and material review, construction observation and construction review.

Bursich has begun working on several projects for the authority involving miscellaneous consultation services, developer plan review for sewer extensions, assisting with ongoing operations and maintenance questions, and the preparation of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit renewal for the wastewater treatment facility.

Bill Dingman, senior project manager at Bursich and representative for the authority said, “Bursich looks forward to providing cost-effective, responsive, quality engineering for the New Hanover Township Authority.”
