The Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) announced the recipients of its 2025 Safety Achievement Awards. These awards recognize CAM member companies for their outstanding commitment to workplace safety and health.
The Safety Achievement Awards are presented to companies based on their total hours worked, with recognition levels of gold, silver or bronze. To qualify, contractors must maintain an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) below 1.0 and report Days Away/Restricted/Transfer Rates (DART) below 1.3 and Recordable Injury and Illness Rates (IR) below 2.2 — figures that demonstrate superior safety performance compared to industry averages.
The following companies have demonstrated exceptional dedication to safety:
Gold Award Winners:
- 0 to 50,999 hours worked: City Carpet & Flooring
- 51,000 to 199,999 hours worked: Edgewood Electric LLC
- 200,000 to 499,999 hours worked: ACS Inc.
- More than 500,000 hours worked: RAM Construction Services
Silver Award Winners:
- 0 to 50,999 hours worked: George McIntosh Inc.
- 51,000 to 199,999 hours worked: L.S. Brinker Company
- 200,000 to 499,999 hours worked: Brinker Team Construction
- More than 500,000 hours worked: Progressive Mechanical Inc.
Bronze Award Winners:
- 51,000 to 199,999 hours worked: Adamo Group
- 200,000 to 499,999 hours worked: Lee Machinery Movers
- More than 500,000 hours worked: Motor City Electric
"Safety is something the construction industry can't take lightly, and we're proud to recognize these companies for their exceptional performance," said Kevin Koehler, president of CAM. "When companies make safety part of their everyday culture, it not only protects their crews but helps move the entire industry forward."
The Construction Association of Michigan congratulates all the 2025 Safety Achievement Award recipients and thanks them for their commitment to fostering a culture of safety. Winners were recognized at an awards ceremony on May 6, 2026.
