Case Construction Equipment has added the CX130B LC (long-carriage) excavator to the Case CX B Series lineup. The CX130B LC track length is increased by nearly 1 ft. (.3 m), to 12 ft. 4 in. (3.7 m).
Heavy Lifting Capacity
With an operating weight of 28,400 lbs. (12,882 kg), the CX130B LC can handle heavy digging and lifting applications in any environment — from residential to commercial construction. With the longer track, ground engagement lift capacities over the end are increased.
“The lift capacity of the long-carriage version is 15-percent greater than the CX130B,” said Mitchell Blake, Case brand marketing manager. “That, combined with the faster cycle times from efficient hydraulic horsepower, boosts productivity and efficiency on the most demanding job site.”
Greater Fuel Efficiency, Comfort
The clean-burning, electronically controlled Tier III-certified 3.0L engine delivers 95 net hp (71 kW). The full, electronic controlled common rail fuel injection and hydraulic system increases fuel efficiency and reduces operating costs. The CX130B’s reduced noise levels increase operator comfort, too. Even at full throttle, the excavator is among the quietest in the industry. Reinforced tubular structures reduce vibration and support the ultra-low 68.5 dBa in the cab, according to the manufacturer.
Easy Maintenance Boosts Uptime
The Case CX130B LC excavator features a green plug — an oil pan plug with a built-in check valve that allows used engine oil to run through a tube and be easily reclaimed by a technician. This provides an easier, cleaner and greener engine oil change. Flip-open service panels provide easy access to virtually all key components.
A cab recirculation filter can be easily checked from behind the cab on the CX130B. Vertically mounted fuel and engine oil filters remotely located in the pump house allow for easy changes. Primary and secondary fuel filters remove contamination and can easily be replaced at ground level.
The long carriage model offers a boom length of 15 ft. 2 in. (4.63 m) with a 9 ft. 11 in. (3 m) or 8 ft. 12 in. (2.50 m) arm with a maximum dig depth of 19 ft. 10 in. (6.05 m) and bucket digging force of 21,357 lbs. (95 kN).
