Edwin “Teddy” McKeon III has been promoted to director of Web services.

Teddy McKeon is a third-generation family member in Construction Equipment Guide and is the grandson of founder, Ed McKeon.

McKeon started his career at CEG in 2012 as a sales administrator. In this role, he was responsible for managing and servicing advertising accounts for print and Web and was instrumental in implementing Salesforce, a global cloud computing company best known for its customer relationship management product/database.

In his new role as director of Web services, McKeon will act as a liaison among CEG’s sales staff, customers, readers and other staff members. He also will assist with Web creative development and be responsible for identifying growth trends for CEG’s Web site, www.constructionequipmentguide.com.

“I look forward to giving the sales force new tools by helping to create new services for our customers as well as for our readership,” he said. “My main focus will be on customer service and helping to create growth both for them and us.”

After graduating college and before joining CEG, he was an account manager for Red Bull Distribution Co. in Aston, Pa., and also worked on promotional strategies and product distribution optimization while there.
