During his five years in Texas as a sales representative for ACP, Eric Henegar quickly noticed and kept his eye on Construction Equipment Guide.

“I ran into [Southwest Sales Representative] Dale Agnew a lot,” Henegar said. “We were friendly competition. I liked the product right away. I recognized the strength of the publication and knew it would eventually reach the West Coast.”

Two years after returning to the Los Angeles, CA, area, the California native is Construction Equipment Guide’s new sales representative on the West Coast.

The Pepperdine University alumnus and avid golfer has approximately 10 years of experience in construction advertising sales, a specialty he was introduced to through his uncle.

“My uncle was a marketing manager for Shepherd Machinery, the CAT dealer in Los Angeles which is now Quinn/Shepherd,” said Henegar. “He introduced me to some of the people he worked with and they showed me some of the ropes.”

Henegar looks forward to representing CEG and highlighting the publication’s strengths.

“CEG has a quality circulation,” said Henegar. “The nature of the editorial is fantastic, the best in the industry. It’s also been around since 1957, so it carries a lot of weight.”
