Charles Machine Works and National Equipment Register Fight Theft

The Charles Machine Works (CMW) Inc., manufacturer of Ditch Witch underground construction equipment, is doing its part to help prevent equipment theft, a nationwide problem, by joining the National Equipment Register (NER) in promoting the practical steps any equipment owner can take to minimize the risk of theft. These steps include marking the equipment properly, registering the equipment with the NER, parking the equipment in secure and/or well-lit areas and installing GPS devices to monitor the equipment’s location.
