Several construction industry and related companies ranked in the top 100 of the fastest growing companies in North Texas at the 12th Annual Dallas 100 awards presented by the Caruth Institute of Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
The Dallas 100 winners demonstrate an impressive history, with an average growth rate of 225 percent. From 1999 to 2001, cumulative revenues totaled more than $6 billion while the number of employees increased by 57 percent.
Businesses must have had sales of at least $500,000, and not more than $65 million in fiscal year 1999, and have a three-year sales history with an increase in fiscal 2001. Both percentage growth and dollar growth are considered in the contest.
Construction industry and allied winners included: Andres Construction Services Inc., Dallas; McCarthy Companies Inc., Dallas; Pavecon Commercial Concrete Inc., Grand Prairie; JMC Construction LP, McKinney; Lonestar Underground Inc., Frisco; and Phoenix 1 Restoration & Construction Ltd., Dallas.
