Fans of the Bay of St. Louis Bridge converged on the Mississippi State Capitol building Oct. 7.
The Mississippi DOT hosted a rally to encourage people to vote for the project in the America’s Transportation Award competition.
It is one of 10 finalists in the competition for the People’s Choice Award. The award is sponsored by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials in cooperation with AAA and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The winner will be announced Oct. 19.
