Daewoo Heavy Industries America Corporation added a new compact equipment dealer in Beaumont, TX. Equipment Headquarters Inc. will be offering the Daewoo product line effective immediately.

According to Trish Maher, marketing director, Daewoo, the new location will help provide customers with quality equipment and service at a highly competitive price. “Daewoo is known around the world for tough, reliable machines and the compact line is no exception,” Maher said. “Every model we offer has the features you need for your demanding applications.”

Henry Cole, president of Equipment Headquarters, said he looks forward to offering his customers a well-respected line-up of compact equipment. “I’ve been very impressed with the Daewoo equipment and with the parts support they offer,” Cole said. “I think people will discover that Daewoo makes an excellent addition to their fleet and will be right at home on any job site.”

Daewoo currently manufactures four skid-steer loaders and five mini excavators in its compact equipment division. The skid steers include the 1340, 1550, 1760 and 2060XLs, ranging from 1,300 to 2,000 lbs. (589.6 to 907.2 kg)of operating capacity. These skid steers offer standard features such as auxiliary hydraulics, work lights, heavy-duty tires, as well as rear and top windows.

The mini excavator line includes Solar models 010, 015, 030, 035 and 055, ranging in bucket-digging force from 1,821 to 7,410 lbs. (826 to 3,361.1 kg).

These machines feature hydraulics that maximize engine horsepower for greater productivity, simple controls for easy operation and are whisper-quiet for working in confined areas or neighborhoods.

Craig Cole, vice president, Equipment Headquarters Inc., remarked that Equipment Headquarters can offer all of these products at a significantly reduced cost. “Daewoo offers programs and incentives to make it very affordable,” said Cole. “In some cases, it’s less expensive to buy a new Daewoo than it is to buy a used competitive machine.”

Maher pointed out that Daewoo is steadily growing its dealership base in North America, searching for the best rather than greatest number of dealers. “We want to do this slowly, so Daewoo’s high standards for service and sales support are met by each dealer,” said Maher. “We feel that Henry Cole more than meets those qualifications and we look forward to a long-standing relationship for the people of Beaumont and the southeast Texas region.”
