Construction Equipment Guide

Daewoo Heavy Industries America Corporation offers a complete line of mini-excavators that can handle tough jobs without incurring the expense of a backhoe loader or a large excavator, according to the manufacturer.

Daewoo mini-excavators utilize variable displacement piston hydraulic pumps that provide more hydraulic flow and higher operating pressure. This type of pump allows use of less engine horsepower, resulting in less noise, better fuel economy and longer engine life.

Noise-reduction features including improved sound absorption material, an inlet silencer, a resonant muffler and an engine bottom cover.

There are five models to choose from in the Solar series — the 010, 015, 030, 035 and 55.
