Dale E. Hall Passes Away at Age 90

Dale E. Hall, 90, of Piqua, Ohio, died Dec. 20, 2014, at the VA Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio.

Mr. Hall was past president of the Processed Limestone Association and Ohio Soil Fertility Education Society. He served as past chairman of the Piqua Citizens Committee for Schools. He was a member of the Ohio Agricultural Council, the support committee of the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center and was awarded the Centennial Medal.

He was a member of the Ohio Aggregates Association and was elected to the Hall of Fame, and was awarded Distinguished Life Membership on Nov. 15, 2013. He was a past member of the Piqua Rotary Club, Greene Street United Methodist Church, Piqua VFW #4874, the National Limestone Institute, and the Piqua Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club.

Mr. Hall is survivored by three daughters, Diana Kay (Frank) Russell of Rochester, N.Y., Marcia (Doug) Kessler of Greenwood, Ind., Carol Hall of Napier, New Zealand; two sons, Barry Hall and Mark (Shirley) Hall all of Piqua; and five grandchildren, Nathan Russell, Emily Russell, Elisabeth Kessler, Anna Kessler and Logan Hall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Weiskittel, one son, Stephen James Hall, four brothers and a sister.
