Danoski Clutts Building Group broke ground for the Spencer Street Distribution development in February. When completed, the 86,000 sq. ft. (7,989 sq m) facility will be a concrete tilt up warehouse near Sunset and Spencer Street in Las Vegas.
With more than two-and-a-half years of planning, this project is a significant addition to the company’s portfolio for 2008.
“We are excited to see this project begin,” Bryce Clutts, president of Danoski Clutts Building Group, said. “This will be a significant example of the kinds of projects to come for our company’s future. [Spencer Street] has been a project in the works for some time now, but all of the preliminary efforts are now paying off.”
A number of uses were being considered by the owners. After several months of planning, the development of a warehouse facility was considered with the property’s close proximity to McCarran Airport.
While the building is being constructed to stand alone, it will be attached to a neighboring warehouse by the roof structure.
The average tilt wall panel is 35 ft. (10 m) with multiple door openings and dock levelers.
The facility will be available for occupancy in the fourth quarter of 2008. Architectural requirements are being performed by TRP Incorporated. Primary subcontractors on the job are Robco Electric, MorCon Inc., HTA Plumbing, Panelized Structures, Western Door and Gate and Alpine Steel.
Founded in 2001, Danoski Clutts Building Group (DCBG) is a full service general contracting firm.
